HAKEEM: As I begin to speak to him my mouth began to have this funny taste as if someone put a lemon in my mouth. The more I looked at him the more there was a bitter taste in my mouth. It was real sour. And I said Lord, what is this? I begin to have this conversation with the Lord while I was talking to this young man. And the Lord spoke to me because I was so used to allowing the Lord to show me something or feel something. But He was activating my prophetic senses. My taste. He wanted to use my tongue to get my attention because I know I don’t like lemons. Lemonade I do. And so what God did was He caught my attention and the more I looked at the young man the Lord gave me a word of knowledge and what I said to him was there’s bitterness in your heart. And the Lord gave me another word of knowledge. That the bitterness that you had was towards your father because you will not forgive him. So God gave me a word of knowledge. All I needed was a word but He used my taste to get my attention! And so God wants to use our eyes, our ears, our mouth, our taste, our tongue, our bodies, whatever! And we have to be open to that. And so He gave me the Word, the power, the spoken word to now speak the opposite. He had bitterness in his heart. But now I prophesied to him that joy will come! I prophesied that you will forgive your father. I prophesied that you would now love your father. And from that point he broke down and he cried and he cried out to the Lord and now today he has a great relationship with his father!
AUDIENCE: Amen! (APPLAUSE)
HAKEEM: Why? Because of the spoken word, the power of the spoken word! Let me tell you one more example and then I’m just going to activate you. Who wants to be activated?
AUDIENCE: Yes!
HAKEEM: Those who are watching are you ready to be activated, your senses to be activated? So listen. I’ll give you one more story. I was on the bus on my way to a game and I came on the bus and I sat down next to this man of God. I say a man of God because when I saw him I saw the word calling. I saw ministry so I knew that he was a man of God. But there was something right now that he was going through presently that it didn’t seem like he was a man of God. When I sat next to him and now we were driving and riding I smelled something. And it smelled like a skunk. And I said wait a minute. Do you smell that? I asked him do you smell that? It smells like a skunk. He said no, I don’t smell that. And it got stronger and stronger and I could not just sit there. I was just I almost wanted to vomit because it was so strong. And I said Lord what is that? And the Lord spoke to me and gave me a word of knowledge. A word. And said that there’s perversion that he’s in.
AUDIENCE: Wow!
HAKEEM: But I want to clean him up.
AUDIENCE: Mm.
