KEVIN: Right. And so we’re not orphans! And so if you are a son then you’re participating as a family member so it’s very important. And then it gets into this other term that Jesus said. Then you get into “covenant.” See, with, covenant, like my spiritual father, he tells me every meeting I go to, he prays over me, and my wife. And he says now if they touch you, they’ve touched me!
RYAN: Wow!
KEVIN: Because you’re my son! And Jesse Duplantis is actually the one that’s taught me this.
RYAN: Wow!
KEVIN: He’s taught me that I gain everything that he has through sonship and he’s my father. And so the Lord also has connected this with the giving.
RYAN: Right.
KEVIN: And so it’s very important. It’s very important to understand sonship and covenant. That you want to be involved with this and that’s part of the kingdom of God that Jesus taught about. And so He said, “Kevin, if I spent my 40 days that I didn’t really have, that it was a gift.
RYAN: [Laughs] Right.
KEVIN: I spent it on, kingdom.
RYAN: Right.
KEVIN: Then you should preach on the kingdom too!
RYAN: Wow!
KEVIN: That’s what He told me.
RYAN: Wow!
KEVIN: So isn’t that great?
RYAN: I love that! We just have a moment left and you have an incredible teaching of something the Lord showed you. How when we pray, and I may be generalizing a little bit, but when we pray we – when we see flashes in our minds, I guess, in our heart.
KEVIN: Yes.
RYAN: That God is really beginning to talk about our future. You’re seeing future things.
KEVIN: Yes. I think that. I think that if people knew how exciting prayer really was because they could see into the future they would pray more! So what happens if you start getting flashes of the future then your spirit is seeing something that’s beyond this realm!
RYAN: So describe that. We just have a minute left. Just what would a flash be?
KEVIN: Well a flash would be where you would see something in the future and then you would see later on and months later it plays out and then you would know!
RYAN: So I’m praying and then this flash comes before me and then?
KEVIN: Yeah.
RYAN: Down the road I see it play out?
KEVIN: Yeah. And so you get accustomed to this as you walk with God. And so, there’s these images that’ll come to you, but they’re really flashcards of your future!
RYAN: Oh, I like that!
KEVIN: And so your body will respond to that. And so I’ve had these things happen to me. Even when I skydive now I watch films of skydiving, even though I’m not skydiving. I’m watching films but I have skydived.
RYAN: Yeah.
KEVIN: I will find myself looking at my watch which is my altimeter in real life. Even though I’m just watching a film my body is like watch your altitude! You’ve got to pull your cord if. You know?
RYAN: Yeah.
KEVIN: So it’s like, those kinds, of things, happen in prayer where it’s you start to respond!
RYAN: I love that! Unfortunately, our time is up!
KEVIN: Yeah.
